This past Saturday Mya was part of a showcase for all of the young gymnasts at her gym. As you know this is a brand new gym for her & this is the 1st showcase the gym has ever done at all so we weren't sure what to expect. They definitely need to iron out a few kinks but overall it turned out really well. The kids were taught a cute little dance number that they did first. Next they did a rotation through their gymnastics. And they ended with a little dancy good-bye. Mya did a great job &, as always, we were very proud of her. At the end she was called by name up on a podium & presented a trophy that she absolutely loves! (All of the gymnasts wore the same leotard so in a few it's a little hard to make out who's who so I pointed her out)

On Sunday we took Mya to see the Barnum & Bailey Circus at Nationwide Arena. We went for the preshow & had a ringside spot for clowns, trapeze, horses & even a painting elephant. Mya nearly lost her mind over it. Then we went to our seats for the show. Everything was amazing & so much fun to watch. I think Adam & I enjoyed it as much as Mya...I know I did! We let Mya pick out a souvenir. Surprisingly she turned down all of the light up or spinning wands & chose instead a big rubber elephant that she has barely let out of her sight since. She is planning to take it to share day this week.
